I'm on MC since yesterday, 11.08.2011, for red eye infection, which suddenly gives me this idea:

Red eye / pink eye / madras eye / conjunctivitis = mata merah (in Malay) = 'hung ngan' (in Cantonese).

Interestingly, 'hung ngan', when put the other way around to become 'ngan hung', in Cantonese it means 'jealous' or 'dengki' in Malay.

Yes, 'dengki' is the word I'm seeing all over the blogosphere lately.  Because of dengki, one can easily spread rumours to destroy others simplysiti because they are more successful, by playing the halal-haram issue.  And then others just help spreading it like wildfire on the blogosphere without first investigating the truth.  Or people just don't care coz hot issues like this are hard to come by?  Hot issues = high traffic to their blogs?  Whatever the reasons, kesian Siti sebab teraniaya.

That is just one example.  Just be more responsible when you felt like wanna spread some rumours, ok*?  Please hold on and investigate first, ok*?  More often than not, these kinda rumours have bad intentions.

On a lighter side of note, my momma says if you find a man with red eyes all the time, beware, coz that man could be a sex maniac!  Hehe...
